Has Brahmastra really done ₹ 75 crore business on the first day? How much genuine is the claim made by Karan Johar?
Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions claims that first day collection of film Brahmastra worldwide is ₹75 crore. Firstly, there is no such agency to verify the authenticity of it.
All trade analysts and media channels have given 1st day collection of ₹ 36 crore (32 crore Hindi and 4 crore regional). But as per industry sources, first day collection stood at ₹ 22 crore.
Do you actually believe ₹ 39 crore could come from rest of the world? Highly impossible.
Film was supposed to do good in USA and Canada. In Australia, censor board has given a A-certificate. Hence, majority of the audience are ruled out.
Due to the bad word of mouth, PVR cinemas lost ₹ 800 crore market cap valuation. Cost of production including PNA of film is over ₹ 450 crores.
Even if film does a life-time collection of ₹ 600 crore, in my opinion it would still be a flop!
Fill doesn't have to do 600 to become hit or gain lose of share market dip ... Even if it does 200cr share market cud jump up.. secondly first part has not consumed whole 410 budget .. hardly 200cr ... Which is sponsored money by various brand ... So even if it makes 200 cr movie is called supper super blockbuster...
When will people understand that you cannot fool public to not understand the reality, request the makers come down in real life, simplicity is appreciated
